Coilwicks is a small Hackney sample label cutting royalty-free libraries for producers working in jungle, garage, broken beat and bass music. Recorded in-house at Mare Street, tested on a Funktion-One.
Every sample is tracked in the same room, through the same chain, monitored on a pair of NS-10s and a pair of Genelecs. Files are labelled, key-tagged, BPM-tagged. Drop into your DAW, hit play, write.

The Junglist Library is the only break pack I have where the swing actually holds. Used four loops on a Bandcamp release last winter, three people DMed me asking for the source.
Bought the Vault in one go and it has paid for itself ten times over. The reese bass stems are particularly well-printed. Sit in the mix without me reaching for compression.
I have used the Warehouse Atmospheres set on every track this year. The Hackney Wick room tones gave me a sub-rumble I could not synthesise from scratch. Properly atmospheric.
Acid Lines is the cleanest 303 pack I have heard since the original Hardfloor reissue series. Resonance sweeps actually move air. My favourite UK sample label after only one purchase.
Customer service is fast and exact. I asked about a different BPM tag on one loop and got a personal reply with a renamed file inside two hours. Highly unusual for a digital-only shop.
Bought the Vault as a 30th birthday gift for a producer friend in Berlin. They have now used three of the libraries on a 12-inch coming out on a Cologne label. Money well spent.
We answer every email personally from the studio in Hackney inside one business day. If a file is mis-labelled or a download link is broken, we fix it the same hour.
